We have hiked up Wahkeena Falls many times in the summer and since I was itchin’ to go on a hike in January, we decided to see what it looks like in winter. This winter, however, we’ve had more snow than usual and it takes a long time to melt in the canyons of the Gorge. We only made it about halfway up and had to turn around due to the slippery conditions and lack of a clearly visible trail.
