Cannon Beach on July 4th

Instead of staying in the city where the temperatures were in the 90s for the 4th of July, we headed to the coast to spend the day at the beach. It was a beautiful sunny day in the high 60s and low 70s. We waded into the icy water of the ocean a little and spent a lot of time sitting at the beach watching all of the people and the kites flying overhead.
