Crescent Beach

Category: Oregon Coast
Tags: , ,

Location: Ecola State Park, Cannon Beach, Oregon
Distance: about 4 miles
Elevation gain: 500 ft

Crescent Beach is a secluded beach accessible only by hiking 1-1/4 miles to it from Ecola State Park. For a January day, it was warmer than usual and partly cloudy. The sun managed to break through the clouds for a short time before rain started after we were back at the trailhead. There were a lot of agates on the beach… more than we’d ever found before.

      Wonderful, Lisa!
I love that the coast has so many beautiful views even in the winter.
      Thanks for sharing!

Ever since last January when Lindsey and I went to the coast and it was 70 degrees, I watch the weather forecasts because once in a while, there are days that are warm without rain and wind. It’s such a nice break from the usual winter here!
