Falls Creek Falls

Category: Southwest Washington
Tags: ,

Location: Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Southwest Washington
Distance: 6 miles
Elevation Gain: 1,150 feet

This is a beautiful hike along Falls Creek to a 200 ft. three-tier waterfall. Highlights besides the waterfall include a wooden suspension bridge, mossy rock and ferns, orange & red fall foliage and a very nice forest. We started the hike on the Lower Falls Trail and after the waterfall, went up a small steep trail to a junction with the Upper Falls Trail. The waterfall is only partially visible from the top, but there is a great view of the surrounding mountains and valley.
